FICTION/NONFICTION: We accept short stories and essays up to 8,000 words. You may submit as many pieces at a time that you wish. If you are submitting multiple pieces of fiction or nonfiction at a time, email them each as their own separate attachments.
POETRY: There are no size restrictions to the poems we accept. If you are submitting multiple poems at a time, email them as their own separate attachments.
PHOTOGRAPHY/ARTWORK: Submit as many photos or pieces of artwork that you wish. If you wish to submit an image of your sculpting or material arts please photograph your work in its most beautiful light and submit the photo. If you choose to submit an image of your artwork such as an illustration or a painting, please scan the art and submit that rather than taking a photo of it.
MANUSCRIPTS: The Underground Publishing House publishes one manuscript a year. We accept fiction submissions, whether that be a novel or a collection of short stories, and poetry collections. Please submit up to 300 pages of fiction or as many poems you wish.
